What's happening a week before Chinese New Year school holidays? Firstly, parents want to know whether some SJKCs are giving another day off on Tuesday, 20th February so that they can plan their balik kampung journey. Some schools have declared Tuesday 20th February as and additional day off and/or 2 March 2018 as well ie on Chap Goh Meh (15th Day of CNY)
On the subject of Chinese school, parents are constantly on the lookout for more apps to help them guide their child with homework.
We have also started developing videos to help the banana mom with homework guidance. Our first video is on the topics that your P1 child will be learning in SJKC Math this year. We translated the topics to English and provided the pinyin as well. More videos are in the pipeline.
Since registration for P1 starts in March, we have started a discussion thread for parents to network while putting in their registrations for P1 online.
